Sporran Makers & Highland outfitters - Janet started Scottish Sporrans from her home in 1981 but it wasn't long before she outgrew the house and worked from a caravan and then a portacabin in the garden. The family still work from home but now in a purpose built workshop. In 2001 Janet Eagleton received the honour of an MBE for her services to sporran- making.

Scottish Sporrans are constantly introducing new ideas into the business. Their handcrafted, desirable and unique sporran handbags are immensely popular, especially among the rich and famous!
Janet's father was a saddler so she was brought up working with leather. Scottish Sporrans is a traditional family business providing a traditional family service. Their time is shared between working in the workshop and running their shop in Perth. Scottish Sporrans, based in Perth in Scotland, are professional sporran makers with over 35 years experience of handcrafting quality custom-made leather products.
Their diverse list of clients include Prince Charles, the Blackwatch, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, and even Samuel L Jackson for his role in the film 51st State and many more. See Customer page.
